Welcome to SeanWorld! Where entertainment and Engineering collide!
Over the last 5 months I have worked in and out of school on an architecture class project that was only supposed to be a virtual, 2 story, multipurpose center. While the rest of the class spent a month and was satisfied I asked if I could instead do an entire indoor amusement park and create a real life, scale model. With a little coercion, my teacher agreed and soon I was knee deep in the biggest project I had ever created. Almost 1000 hours later and I had created SeanWorld. Inside this six foot by six foot mini wonderland you will find three rides, a theater, an automat, and as always bathrooms. Below I’ll take you through the fantastical world that is SeanWorld.

NEXUS: This ride takes you on an adventure through the post apocalyptic world of 2846 using an enhanced motion vehicle (EVM) to simulate the tumultuous terrain the apocalypse has created. Using Onshape (CAD), I took a library of blue prints and sketches from real life cars and attractions that feature EVM technology to create my own functional 3D model!

THE ORBITER: This flying carousel was designed using Onshape (CAD) and was inspired by the litany of space themed flying carousels from the Astro Orbiter at Disney to the smaller fair versions of the ride!

FLYRIDER: Take a retro futuristic tour of jet pack travel while flying on a hydraulic lift system based on the systems used for Flight Of Passage at Animal Kingdom. Using CAD I was able to create working hydraulics that function on the model as well as ride vehicles that work with the Revit designed building!

THE THEATER: Of course there is a theater in SeanWorld, and of course it’s showing my musical Shamusical. Using Revit I designed a 500 seat theater with accessibility for all including handicap seating and sign language interpreters!
